Why now for Tamaris Bespoke
Technology is helping to re-write our economy particularly in the shopping arena, with a fundamental change to shopping on-line. The luxury market is meeting these challenges and at Tamaris Bespoke we want to be involved.
Over time, as well as my work, the website will seek to introduce you to a wide range of bespoke luxury products and services some unique, some handmade but always demonstrating the quality and high standards that we can all recognise.

Personal Profile
Following a long career in developing and managing private healthcare facilities, for the last two decades Jo has developed her skills as a textile artist. Influenced by her Grandmother’s tutelage as a youg girl and seeking out striking fabrics, which have been sourced from all over the world she blends them into colourful abstract works of art. Confronted by how best to sell her work, Jo’s entrepreneurial vision led her to identify a gap in the market for the whole range of works of art which she believed could be filled by the establishment of an on-line art gallery and in 2011 the Creative Arts Gallery was launched. At the onset of the pandemic and the closure of all non-essential business the gallery and workshop sadly had to be closed.
The last decade has seen considerable changes in the retail market with the technical revolution, the pandemic and the on-set of working from home becoming a norm.
Now is the time to move forward with a new website showcasing Jo Taylor Textile Artist and moving forward to include in the shop Pre-owned luxury designer items.
Today’s market place with its “throw away culture’ fuels some of the world’s biggest problems such as overconsumption. overproduction and Climate Change, creating a major world wide problem of textile waste. We should not ignore the past by choosing to shop at Tamaris Bespoke, you are not only getting unique and stylish pieces, but you are also contributing to a more sustainable fashion industry.
Jo also believes that there is a gap in the market promoting bespoke products and services and has launched Tamaris Bespoke, an online platform, creating a direct link between buyers and sellers. Jo looks forward to the venture taking off and its ultimate success in promoting the creative and artistic talent that thrives in the UK today.
